Sci-Fi and Introverts

Today is World Introvert Day and also National Science Fiction Day! There's nothing I love more than curling up on the sofa with a soft blanket and good book, especially if it's a space opera romp that could put Star Wars to shame, but I'm also a sucker for the classics - so here are some of my recommendations for good Science Fiction novels and films!

Films:
1. Fifth Element
2. Lost in Space
3. I, Robot
4. Star Wars
5. Blade Runner
6. Alien
7. 2001, A Space Odyssey
8. The Man Who Fell to Earth

Books:
1. Dune
2. Ender's Game
3. Frankenstein
4. The Time Machine
5. Do Android's Dream of Electric Sheep?
6. Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy
7. A Wrinkle in Time
8. Oryx and Crake

What are your recommendations for good science fiction? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I had no idea there was a World Introvert Day. How fun!

I don't read science fiction much, but I loved Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I can't actually think of any book recommendations, but other than the movies you mentioned (I love Blade Runner, Alien and I, Robot), one of my favorites is called Moon and Looper was really interesting.
